On New Year's Eve, December 31, 2025, St. Jerome Airport will conclude another exceptionally successful year, although the very last day of the year will be marked by a relatively low number of regular operations.
Split will be connected to a total of five European destinations by regular flights tomorrow. National carrier Croatia Airlines will operate flights to Munich, Frankfurt, Zurich and Zagreb tomorrow, thus maintaining the basic international and domestic connectivity of the city and region at the very end of the year.
In addition to Croatia Airlines, other carriers are also participating in tomorrow's traffic. Swiss Edelweiss will also operate on the route to Zurich, while Eurowings will make one rotation on the route from Düsseldorf.
A total of six regular arrivals and seven departures to Split have been announced for tomorrow, which is in line with expectations for the period outside the main winter tourist season. A slightly larger number of operations have been announced the day after tomorrow, on January 1, 2026, which will see the airport enter the new year with a slight increase in traffic.
Although the last day of 2025 will be operationally quiet, Resnik Airport is closing the year with outstanding results. According to available data, almost 4 million passengers passed through Split Airport in 2025, just slightly below that limit, which still represents a new absolute record since the airport opened. We will know the official figure at the beginning of the new year, when the airport publishes its monthly statistics for December.
With this, Split once again confirms the status of one of the most successful and dynamic airports in the region, with continuous growth in the number of passengers and a strong network of international and domestic routes.
