This morning the air temperatures were the lowest ever recorded this year. Solin measured 0°C this morning, Split and Kaštela +1, writes Dalmacija danas.
On New Year's Eve, clear or slightly cloudy skies will prevail on the Adriatic and in the areas adjacent to it. Elsewhere inland, variable cloudiness, mainly in the east, very little snow is rarely possible. There will be a weak to moderate southwest wind, and northwesterly and bora winds on the Adriatic. The air temperature will mostly be between -5 and 0, in Lika and a little lower, and on the Adriatic from 0 to 5 °C, reports DHMZ.
On the first day of 2026, Thursday, it will still be mostly sunny and dry at first. During the day, a gradual increase in cloud cover from the west will first affect northern Dalmatia. In the evening, there may be a little rain in some places, and in the Dalmatian hinterland, sleet. At sea, the south wind will strengthen, which will be strong at sea in the evening. The morning will still be cold, then it will gradually get a little warmer towards the evening. The highest daily temperatures will be from 2 to 12°C, reports Dalmacija danas.
