HAK: Mandatory winter equipment on certain roads, restrictions on the Adriatic Highway due to wind

Winter equipment required on some roads, wind restrictions on the Adriatic Highway
Due to winter conditions, traffic is prohibited for trucks with trailers and tractors with semi-trailers, as well as vehicles without proper winter equipment on certain roads in Lika and Gorski Kotar. Due to stormy winds, restrictions are in place for certain groups of vehicles on the coast, between Novi Vinodolski and Senj and Karlobag and Sveta Marija Magdalena, and a ban is imposed on buses with kt, vehicles with camper vans, motorcycles, delivery vehicles and vehicles with a covered cargo area (I. and II. vehicle groups).
Roads are wet and slippery in most parts of the country. Due to low temperatures, ice is possible, especially on bridges, overpasses and viaducts in the interior. Landslides are possible. Drivers are advised to adjust their speed and driving style to road conditions, maintain a safe distance between vehicles and do not set off without winter equipment.
