
On Christmas Eve, Dalmatia will be mostly cloudy, with occasional rain, locally and more pronounced showers and thunderstorms. A strong and stormy bora will blow in the northern and part of the central Adriatic, hurricane-force winds at the foot of Velebit, and moderate and strong jugo to the south, the State Hydrometeorological Institute announced.
Inland, the rain will turn into sleet and snow, in some places with the formation of snow cover, primarily in the mountains and in the northwest. A moderate northeasterly wind will blow. The air temperature will be between 0 and 5, on the Adriatic mostly from 9 to 15 °C. On Christmas Eve, there will be occasional precipitation in the interior, mainly sleet and snow, and mostly dry in the far east. In the Adriatic, it will rain, mostly on the islands of Dalmatia, but also windy with strong and stormy bora in the northern and central parts, and moderate easterly and bora in the south.

Inland on Christmas Day it will be mostly cloudy, with occasional sleet and snow. In the Adriatic it will be variably cloudy, with occasional rain, mainly on the Dalmatian islands, and mostly sunny in the afternoon, mostly in Dalmatia.
There will be a weak to moderate northeasterly wind, in the east to strong easterly. In the Adriatic, a moderate to strong bora will blow, with gusts of stormy, and at the foot of Velebit and hurricane force. The air temperature will mainly be between 0 and 4, with the lowest in the Adriatic from 6 to 11, and the highest daily between 10 and 15 °C.
