
The latest edition of the show Kronika grada Kaštela, which airs on TV Jadran, was released on Sunday, December 14th, and provides an overview of the events in Kaštela last week.
You can watch how it went in the show. Saint Nicholas' Day, who arrived in front of the Cultural Center in Kaštel Lukšić 'riding' on the roof of a fire truck. The center filled up at record speed, because St. Nicholas promised a gift to every child, and the program was enhanced by a performance by the K7 dance club.
Christmas gifts in Kaštela began to be distributed on December 8th, on weekdays from 8 am to 13 pm, and the last day of distribution will be December 19th, with strict adherence to deadlines, as withdrawals after the specified date will not be possible. The City Administration held A formal reception on the occasion of the exceptional success of Marina Kaštela, which won the title of the best large marina in 2025 at the Croatian Tourism Days, thus confirming its key role in the development of Croatian nautical tourism. The reception was attended by Denis Ivanović, Mayor of the City of Kaštela, Captain Josip Berket, owner of Marina Kaštela, Ivona Smoljić, Director of Marina Kaštela and Nada Maršić, Director of the Kaštela Tourist Board, and you can see how the reception went below.
At the 25th Summer Deaflympics in Tokyo, the Croatian handball team achieved exceptional success, winning the gold medal. Among the Olympic winners were two people from Kaštela – brothers Mateo and Ilija Perak, long-time members of the national team and holders of a number of international medals. A reception was held at the city administration, which, in addition to the Olympians, was attended by the president of the County Sports Association of the Deaf, Marjan Turković, the secretary of the Association, Miro Opačak, and communications mediator Ana Tomić. The athletes were received by Deputy Mayor Antonio Budimir and Head of the Deaf Association, Antonia Kljaić. You can watch their impressions of the tournament in the rest of the show.
In addition to the handball players, a reception was held at the Kaštela City Administration for Croatian kickboxing national team members from Kaštela, medalists and prominent participants of the recent World Championships in Abu Dhabi. The reception was attended by Luka Žuljević, the silver medalist, while his club colleague Ante Buzov, who came in fourth place in the world, was unable to attend due to business commitments. They were joined by national team coach Miljenko Šarac and coach Ivana Tadić, and were welcomed by Deputy Mayor Antonio Budimir and Head of the Department Antonia Kljaić.
