Saint Lucia arrived at the Mir Center a day earlier, bringing not only gifts but also dear guests who brightened the day for its beneficiaries. This is a traditional visit by students and representatives of individual elementary schools who organized a special program for the Mir Center residents and presented a valuable donation.
The already traditional visit was made by students from the Knez Mislav Elementary School from Sućurac, accompanied by teacher Lucija Vrdoljak with a van full of valuable gifts. After them, 37 students from the Ivan Duknović Elementary School from Marina arrived, accompanied by the school principal Joško Ćudina, religious education teacher Sanja Matić, English teacher Sandra Vudrić, and teachers Valentina Piteša and Petra Relja.
During the one and a half hour gathering, the school students performed several musical and dramatic acts prepared with the help of their teachers, and on the other hand, they were introduced by members of the Mir Center music group Tonči, Krešo and Denis, accompanied by music therapist Natalija Đerek.
After the gathering, the school principal, Mr. Joško Ćudina, presented the Center with a valuable donation of 2.200 euros, collected by the parents of the students and the residents of Marina.
The Mir Center would like to thank everyone who made the effort to cheer up the users with valuable gifts and donations, as well as wonderful company during this morning.
