On the occasion of the Day of the City of Kaštela, March 4th, the City Council of the City of Kaštela is awarding public recognitions to deserving individuals, legal entities and associations. For this reason, a Public Call for Proposals has been launched.
The City of Kaštela Lifetime Achievement Award is an annual award from the City of Kaštela, which is awarded as:
- personal award, to a domestic or foreign natural person
– a collective award to a domestic or foreign legal entity, citizens' association or citizens' associations of the City of Kaštela
Proclamation of honorary citizen of the City of Kaštela.
The right to submit proposals for the City of Kaštela Lifetime Achievement Award and the Annual City of Kaštela Award is held by at least one third of the councilors in the City Council, the mayor, domestic legal entities, citizen associations, local councils and at least ten citizens residing in the area of the City of Kaštela.
The mayor and at least one third of the councilors in the City Council have the right to submit a proposal for being declared an Honorary Citizen.
The proposal for the award of public recognition by the City of Kaštela is submitted in writing to the Commission for the Award of Public Recognition.
The proposal for the award of public recognition of the City of Kaštela is submitted on the prescribed form and must contain the following information: name and surname, or the name of the proposer, place of residence or registered office of the proposer, personal name or name of the natural or legal person to whom the proposal relates, CV, or basic information about the legal or natural person and its business, the name of the public recognition and the area for which the proposal is submitted, and a detailed explanation of the proposal, or achievements and contributions for which the award of public recognition of the City of Kaštela is proposed (at least on one sheet of A4 paper) and a statement by the candidate on acceptance of the candidacy.
Along with the proposal, the proposer is obliged to attach appropriate documentation confirming the statements in the proposal.
