A public cultural institution "Cultural Center of Kaštela" will be established.
The President of the City Council, Mario Škopljanac, has convened the 4th session of the City Council of the City of Kaštela for Monday, December 15, 2025 at 10 a.m. in the City Hall. After the current hour, the councilors will have 45 agenda items before them. Among the items on the agenda is the budget rebalance as well as the adoption of the budget for the following year with projections for 2027 and 2028. The budget for 2026 will be a record, over 54 million euros.
The proposal for the cultural development strategy of the city of Kaštela 2024-2030 will be adopted, highlighting challenges and opportunities from all cultural aspects, as well as funds and instruments through which financial support is provided for the implementation of cultural activities, which will be presented by Antonia Kljaić, Head of the Administrative Department for Social Activities and General Affairs, and Ana Devčić, MA in Geography.
Proposals for the program for the construction and maintenance of communal infrastructure for 2026 will also be adopted, as well as the 3rd amendment for 2025. As well as proposals for programs of public needs in culture, education, preschool education, sports, technical culture, social welfare and health care, and other associations of citizens and religious communities of the City of Kaštela for 2026.
Then, on the agenda will be the public needs program for performing the activities of the Croatian Mountain Service station and a proposal for an analysis of the state of the civil protection system in the area of the City of Kaštela in 2025, as well as a plan for the development of the civil protection system in the area of the City of Kaštela for 2026.
A public cultural institution "Cultural Center of Kaštela" will be established.
Councilors will also vote for the proposal for a decision to establish a Public Cultural Institution "Kaštela Cultural Center", so the former Pastoral Center in Kaštel Lukšić will be an institution called "Kaštela Cultural Center", abbreviated as KUC Kaštela.
A decision on a temporary ban on the execution of works in 2026 will also be adopted, as well as a proposal for a decision on amendments to the Decision on the method of providing public municipal waste collection services in the area of the City of Kaštela.
Proposal of a decision on the selection of the most favorable bidders for the award of permits for the maritime domain, as well as a proposal of a decision on the performance of chimney sweeping work in the area of the City of Kaštela and the Concession Granting Plan for 2026, and the work program of the Youth Council of the City of Kaštela with a financial plan for 2026.
The mayor will also submit a work report for the period January-June 2025.
