In front of the Cultural Center, children and parents welcomed the unusual Saint Nicholas on Saturday, who arrived 'riding' on the roof of a fire truck. The Cultural Center filled up at record speed, because St. Nicholas promised a gift to every child, and the program was enhanced by a performance by the K7 dance club.
Upon arrival St. Nicholas everyone was afraid of Krampus, but when the host of the program Zeljka Perdic, president of the 'Šušur' association and editor of the eponymous TV chronicle 'Kaštelanski Šušur', asked Nikola if the children had been good, he confirmed that they had been and that there was no reason for whippings or room for the naughty Krampus. This further raised the atmosphere, and the spectacular welcome continued with a program at the Cultural Center, where the place was in demand more than ever before.
After a short introductory speech, the famous Kaštela dance club K7 was introduced, along with several dance numbers in which the little dancers also showed their film skills in breakdance and free dance. There was no sign of St. Nicholas, so the host Željka asked the children if they thought she could call him, and the thunderous calling that followed, St. Nicholas could not help but hear, so he came out on stage accompanied by two angels, and the distribution of gifts began without a single stick in sight. This kind of welcome, and the Miach concert that followed later, is something that the little Kaštela residents will remember for a long time.
