"Advent in Kaštela" starts on Saturday in New Park in Lukšić
During December, this holiday month, the people of Kaštela will have the opportunity to enjoy the holiday atmosphere specially prepared as part of the Advent in Kaštela in the New Park in Lukšić. A diverse entertainment program has been prepared for all generations and a rich offer of food and drinks from Advent houses. The program begins on December 6th and will last until January 3rd, during which Advent candles will be lit in Đardin in Novi.
This year's Advent in Kaštela once again combines tradition, music, socializing, and a festive atmosphere, and the organizers once again invite all citizens and visitors to enjoy the program that follows during December and early January.
Concert on Saturday: Miach, a new generation of musicians
Christmas Town will open with a concert on Saturday, December 6th at 20 p.m. by one of the strongest names on the new Croatian music scene – Miach, how are we announced.
Miach will certainly win the hearts of the Kaštela audience with his hits like "UFO", "SMS","Led Modules","Fantasy"And"Angel", which established her as a new generation musician with a modern pop/R&B sound.
Viva for New Year's Eve, and Vuco will perform at the closing of Advent
During the Christmas Town in Kaštela program, the organizers have prepared a great holiday atmosphere with sound music, and in addition to Miach, concerts will be held by Zoran Jelenković, Dalmatino, Jole, Siniša Vuco, the Viva group, Hrvatske ruže, Željko Krušlin Kruška and the Latino group, Macao band, Bravo band, Josip Ivačić and XXS band.
The group Viva will once again usher in the New Year in Kaštel, and Vuco will perform on January 3rd and close Advent with his concert.
A rich program for children as part of the "Kaštela Advent Fairy Tale"
In addition to the announced concerts, a rich program for children, "Kaštela Advent Fairy Tale", will be organized as part of Advent.
The Children's Advent program begins on December 6th at 17 p.m., when the Saint Nicholas reception will take place. All those who do not arrive at 17 p.m. will be able to welcome Saint Nicholas at 10 a.m. in the Kaštel City Library in Kaštel Sućurac, where a creative workshop on making antique pine tree ornaments will also be held.
The City Library of Kaštela will organize another creative workshop on St. Luke's Day, on December 13th at Vitturi Castle, and the theme will be a Christmas card like in the old days. On the same day, at 17 pm in the New Park in Kaštel Lukšić, St. Luke will cheer up all the little ones. Children will be able to enjoy various performances during Advent, and the highlight of their children's Advent will be the children's New Year's Eve party on December 30th in the New Park in Kaštel Lukšić. The Magic Animator will be in charge of the entertainment.
Every Saturday, Advent candles are lit in Đardin in Novi
As part of Advent in Kaštela, every Saturday, the lighting of candles on the Advent wreath in Đardin, made by teachers and students of the "Braća Radić" High School, is organized. The ceremony is led by Don Gabriel Kamber, pastor of the parish of St. Peter the Apostle, and on that occasion, Kaštela residents will be able to purchase Advent wreaths and Christmas decorations made by Kaštela associations.
Of course, this year's Advent will not be complete without the traditional cod distribution organized by the PŠK Srdela and with the support of the Kaštela City Administration, which will take place on December 20th at the port in Kaštel Stari.
