In Kaštel Novi on Tuesday, December 2, at 9:11 p.m., police officers from the Kaštela Police Station stopped a private vehicle driven by a 40-year-old driver. The checks conducted determined that he was driving the vehicle before obtaining the right to drive a vehicle of any category.
After a preliminary test determined the presence of drugs in his body, he refused the police officers' request to undergo further medical examination, namely the collection of blood and urine for analysis.
The police proposed to the competent court the imposition of a prison sentence of 45 days and the determination of detention due to the risk of repeating the offense.
The court released him and put the case into regular proceedings.
