Kaštela high school students socialized with the excellent Kaštela farmer Ante Livaković
Students of the "Braća Radić" High School from Kaštel Štafilić, as part of the "Heritage Keepers" project, in cooperation with the Kaštel City Museum, held the first in a series of gatherings with older Kaštela farmers. The aim of the project is to document the traditional knowledge, skills and experiences that have shaped the agricultural life of Kaštela for centuries.
They were welcomed at the museum by Sanja Acalija, a museum advisor who will help them connect and process the collected data. The first original narrator was Ante Livaković, a resident of Kaštel Lukšić and an excellent Kaštel farmer, who gladly shared his wealth of knowledge with the students.

During the meeting, students noted the names of medicinal herbs, methods of their use in treatment, and numerous folk wisdom and proverbs related to meteorology, astronomy, and ethnobotany.
This gathering marked an important step in preserving the intangible cultural heritage of Kaštela and encouraged students to actively participate in collecting and valorizing the knowledge of older generations.
