The Director General of the State Geodetic Administration, Antonio Šustić, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Lećevica, Ante Baran, signed an Agreement on the implementation of a cadastral survey for the purpose of creating a real estate cadastre in the territory of the municipality, as part of the implementation of the Multi-annual Program of Cadastral Surveys of Construction Areas of the Republic of Croatia, in the premises of the Municipality of Lećevica. The cadastral survey will be carried out in the territory of the Municipality of Lećevica for the purpose of creating a real estate cadastre and renewing the land register. The total area of the survey is 242 hectares, and the estimated value is approximately 1,000,000.00 euros.
The State Geodetic Administration will provide 100% of the funds required for the cadastral survey in its budget. The Municipality of Lećevica will provide the space with all necessary technical and communication infrastructure.
The planned start of work on the new survey is the beginning of next year. Active participation is of utmost importance for the successful implementation of the new survey, therefore, the message "Be an active participant in the cadastral survey" invites all persons in the areas where the cadastral survey is being conducted to respond to the invitation of the surveyor and the State Geodetic Administration (which they will receive at their home address) in order to secure "clean papers" for their real estate that is part of the new survey. They also ask all participants to share information related to the cadastral survey with all relatives and neighbors, with prior agreement, and to the mutual satisfaction of all so that it does not become an obstacle to the registration of real estate in the cadastre. The cadastral survey is also a demographic measure and a prerequisite for resolving property-legal relations, and a driver of new economic activities in the area of the Municipality of Lećevica.
Up-to-date and reliable data is the foundation of the rule of law and a prerequisite for the efficient functioning of the real estate market, the initiation of investments and the implementation of capital development and infrastructure projects. Property owners and property managers in the area where the cadastral survey is being conducted, together with other owners and surveyors, will indicate the boundaries which will then be entered into the cadastral survey study and, if there are no objections, the new situation will be entered into the cadastre and then into the land register.
