Extremely heavy rain hit the Kaštela area late Tuesday afternoon. Even the manholes on the roads were unable to withstand the large amount of precipitation in a short period of time, so many roads were flooded, making traffic difficult.
According to residents of Sućurac above the main road, specifically in Potok Strabežnik Street, a "river" was flowing through the street, and the road under the overpass in the direction of Rudino was also closed.

The situation is similar in Gomilica, Milinkovo, Gaji, Mila Gora. Readers report that the manholes are clogged and full of sand.
It was no better on the roads along the sea, as evidenced by the photo from Kambelovac.
