Kaštela will be filled with song, emotion and pride this Sunday. The Cultural and Artistic Society "Ante Zaninović" is marking 25 years of work and preservation of tradition, and will celebrate this important anniversary with a gala concert on Sunday, November 9, starting at 19 p.m., at the Kaštel Lukšić Cultural Center.
During its quarter century of operation, the KUD "Ante Zaninović" has become synonymous with dedication, love for folklore and the preservation of Kaštela's heritage. With their dance, song and folk customs, they have represented Kaštela throughout Croatia and abroad, proudly preserving the spirit of their ancestors.
More than 130 members of the company will gather on stage this evening – from the youngest dancers and singers, to veterans with decades of performances and travel behind them. A special moment of the evening will be the performance of the first generation of members, those who laid the foundations of today's company 25 years ago and who are now, with special excitement, returning to the stage.
The audience can expect an evening filled with traditional dances, songs and memories, with some nostalgic moments and a lot of pride. It will be an opportunity to remember how togetherness, will and love for culture built one of the most important folklore stories of Kaštela.
The organizers invite all citizens, folklore lovers, former members and friends of the society to join them and celebrate this valuable jubilee together.
