The STEM for All 2.0 project continued its activities in the Split-Dalmatia County, where two public STEM events were held on October 21 and 22, 2025, at the Cultural Center in Lukšić and at the Knez Trpimir School in Gomilica with the aim of popularizing science, technology, engineering and mathematics among children and families.
A STEM competition was held at the Kaštel Lukšić Cultural Center, where children could show their creativity, ingenuity, and desire for research through teamwork and solving interesting STEM challenges.
This was followed by a STEM public event – a STEM stand on the school playground of the Kneza Trpimir Elementary School in Kaštel Gomilica, where visitors could participate in interactive activities and meet educational robots that delighted the youngest.
- Both events were held as part of activity A4 - Promotion of STEM fields through the organization of events and popular science events for children and students in public places of the STEM for All 2.0 project, implemented by the Association Institute for STEM Education and Afterschool Programs co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus within the Call SF.2.4.06.04 "Strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations for the promotion of STEM". With such events, the project contributes to creating equal opportunities for access to STEM education, encourages curiosity and a spirit of inquiry in children, and builds a bridge between education and the community - state the organizers and add STEM for All - because science belongs to everyone!
