
The tourist season in Kaštela is getting longer year after year. This is best illustrated by eVisitor's statistics on commercial accommodation, which show that, despite the increase in accommodation units, the number of overnight stays is increasing. September recorded excellent results, with 12 percent more overnight stays and 10 percent more guests than last year. In addition, we recorded three percent more overnight stays in the first nine months compared to 2024.
According to eVisitor data, 14.422 guests stayed in commercial accommodation in Kaštela in September, who made 78.795 overnight stays, while these figures were lower last year. There were 13.142 guests staying in commercial accommodation, who made 70.634 overnight stays.
In September, the largest number of overnight stays in commercial accommodation were recorded by guests from Germany (around 21 percent), Poland (around 14 percent), Great Britain (around 10 percent), Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Croatia (around 5 percent), France (around 4 percent), the USA, Sweden and the Netherlands (around 3 percent), Finland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Belgium and Denmark (around 2 percent).
- It is evident from the table that in September 2025 the number of arrivals is at the index of 110, that is, it is 10 percent higher than in 2024, and the number of overnight stays is also 12 percent higher - stated the director of the Kaštela Tourist Board Nada Maršić.

An increase in the number of guests from Germany, Great Britain and the Czech Republic
Since the beginning of the year, 129.587 guests have stayed in Kaštela, achieving 703.213 overnight stays, which is 5 percent more guests and three percent more overnight stays than in 2024.
In the period January - September 2025, the largest number of overnight stays in commercial accommodation were achieved by guests from Germany with about 16 percent, Poland with about 15 percent, Great Britain with about 8 percent, Croatia with about 6 percent, France, the Czech Republic and Ukraine with about 5 percent, the Netherlands and Norway with about 4 percent, Sweden, Slovakia and Hungary with about 3 percent, Slovenia, the USA, Austria with about 2 percent
- It is important to emphasize that the increases in arrivals and overnight stays in the first nine months are from Germany (12 percent), Great Britain (11 percent), the Czech Republic (9 percent). We also have a decrease from some countries, France, Hungary, Italy, the USA, compared to 2024 - says Maršić.
