MOST OF THE KASTELANS VOTED FOR HDZ, THEN THE HOMELAND MOVEMENT, SDP AND MOST
HDZ is the relative winner of the parliamentary elections, winning eight constituencies, including the IX constituency, and votes from the diaspora, while the Restart coalition led by the SDP won two constituencies.

HOW THE CASTLE VOTED
Croatian citizens elected a new parliament on Sunday, with the HDZ winning a majority of votes, while the Restart coalition came up short, winning only 41 seats. With 66 seats as the winner of these parliamentary elections, the HDZ will not have much trouble forming a new majority.

PREVIOUS ELECTION POLLS RESULTS VARIED FROM 0,5 TO 1 PERCENT FROM THE FINAL ONES
According to the first exit polls, HDZ won 61 seats in the Parliament in the 10th parliamentary elections. Restart coalition 44. Homeland Movement won 16, Možemo and Most won eight seats each, Party with a name and surname, Focus and Smart three. The poll was conducted by Ipsos among 21575 respondents in all 10 constituencies.

By 4:30 p.m., 34,04 percent of the 3.627.676 citizens who have the right to vote at one of the polling stations in Croatia had gone to the polls, which is 3,64 percent less than in the elections four years ago.

POLLING TURNING OUT
Elections began in Croatia at 7 a.m. this morning, where voters will decide who will represent them in the Croatian Parliament for the next four years. By 11:30 a.m., 18,09 percent of voters had exercised their right.

SEC WILL ANNOUNCE TURNING OUTCOMES AT NOON
On Sunday, July 5, at 7 a.m., polling stations opened in all ten constituencies in Croatia, where citizens will elect 151 representatives who will serve in the new parliament. The lists include more than 2600 candidates, including 140 future representatives from constituencies in Croatia, three representatives from the diaspora, and eight representatives of national minorities.

RECOMMENDED PROTECTION MEASURES AT POLLING STATIONS
After two weeks of campaigning, election silence begins tonight at midnight and lasts until the end of voting, on Sunday, July 5. Political parties, independent candidates, various coalitions must end their campaigning at midnight and until the end of the election silence, they are not allowed to promote themselves, advertise, publish photos of candidates and lists in the media, make statements related to the elections, and the like.

NINTH UNIT WITH THE MOST VOTERS
Croatian voters will go to the polls on Sunday, July 5, to elect 151 representatives to serve in the new parliament. Voters will decide between 192 lists: 181 lists for ten constituencies in Croatia, 11 lists for the 11th constituency of the diaspora, and 17 candidates in the 12th constituency, which represents minorities.

MEDIA CONFERENCE
As the usual election campaign has been suspended due to the coronavirus crisis, the Restart coalition has been mainly addressing the citizens of Croatia via social networks, the internet and the media in recent days, so this Tuesday a press conference was held in Kaštel Sućurac for two candidates on their list for the 9th constituency, Matko Kuzmnić from Kaštel and Nikola Vučković from Sinj, and the mayor of Trogir, Ante Bilić, also participated in the conference.

Organized by the Civic Initiative for the Truth about the Defensive Homeland War, this Wednesday, July 1, a screening of the film "Pictures from the Life of a Warrior" by director Silvije Mirošničenko and producer Antun Ivanković will be held on the playground next to the church in Kaštel Lukšić, on Croatian Defenders Street.

RIGHT-WING LEAGUE CANDIDATES IN KAŠTELI
- We are optimistic for good reason and I hope that one, or maybe two, Right League candidates will enter the next parliament from the 9th constituency. We felt this during our field visits, especially in the Sinj and Zadar areas, where they could get up to 8 percent. By the way, some polls show that at the moment we have about 6,3 percent of the vote in the 9th constituency - said Karlo Starčević, the leader of the Right League list in this constituency, president of the Croatian Party of Rights, on Monday in Kaštel Sućurac.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS EXPIRING
To ensure that the election date does not dictate the rhythm of your life, the state has made it possible for citizens to vote wherever they are. More than 26.000 citizens have already requested a change in the voter register, and the biggest crowds are expected today, given that the deadline for registration expires at midnight.

WITH TWO KASHTELAN WOMEN, MILIJA BALDIĆ LUKŠIĆ AND BISERKA GRGIN
In Kaštel Stari, some of the MOST candidates from the list for the 9th electoral unit presented themselves at the market on Tuesday, under the slogan Croatia is awakening. In addition to the number two candidate on the list, Mira Bulja, two candidates from Kaštela, Milija Baldić Lukšić and Biserka Grgin, were also present. They talked about the Kaštela greenhouses, the tunnel through Kozjak, the Headquarters and the corona, social care for the elderly population, and base stations in Kaštela.

Some of the MOST candidates on the list for the IX electoral unit will present themselves to the people of Kaštel this Tuesday, June 23rd, at 9 am, on the waterfront and port in Kaštel Stari.

RESTART COALITION CANDIDATE'S VISIT TO KASTELI
The leader of the SDP and the Restart coalition, Davor Bernardić, visited Dalmatia on Saturday as part of the election campaign, holding a campaign rally in Split where candidates from their list in the 10th constituency were presented, and visiting Kaštela in the company of candidates from the Restart coalition in the 9th constituency, including Kaštela candidate Matko Kuzmanić, where he briefly socialized with citizens and answered questions from journalists.

Croatian defender and holder of the "Order of Nikola Šubić Zrinski", Ivan Biluš Gagić, addressed the citizens of Kaštela on the occasion of the upcoming parliamentary elections, urging them to vote for Miroslav Škora.

WILL THE NUMBER OF CASTELLANS IN THE PARLIAMENT INCREASE?
We are only a few hours away from the deadline by which the State Election Commission is tasked with verifying the validity of the submitted lists for the upcoming parliamentary elections and publishing the consolidated lists by unit. Then we will know exactly every name on those lists, that is, all candidates for entry into the Parliament, where they will shape the politics and destiny of Croatia in the next four years.

NOTICE TO VOTERS
This Tuesday, the Decision on the Call for Elections for Representatives to the Croatian Parliament entered into force, according to which the elections will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2020. Upon the entry into force of the Decision, an invitation was sent to all voters to review, supplement and correct the data entered in the voter register.

On the very day that the president announced the date of the parliamentary elections, we begin publishing the results of HRejting. The survey was conducted for HRT from May 15 to 18 by the Promocija plus agency on a sample of 1400 respondents, which guarantees a response reliability level of 95 percent, with a statistical error of only plus/minus 2, or 62 percent.

THE RACE FOR PARLIAMENT IS ON
We will elect 151 representatives to the Croatian Parliament, 140 in ten constituencies in Croatia, three will be elected by the 'diaspora', i.e. Croatian citizens residing abroad, and eight by members of national minorities in the 12th constituency, which consists of the entire country.
