LOCAL ELECTIONS ENDED
HDZ candidate Blaženko Boban will take over the position of prefect of Split-Dalmatia County from Zlatko Ževrnja in the coming days, citizens in 55 cities and municipalities in the county decided, giving Boban an advantage over Most's candidate, Miro Bulj. 

SECOND ROUND OF ELECTION
Out of 2,79 million voters, around 700,000 or 27,45 percent of eligible voters went to the polls in Croatia today by 4:30 p.m. to elect the leaders of their local and regional communities in the second round of local elections.

FEWER TITLE TICKETS THAN IN THE FIRST ROUND
This morning at 7 am, 4,473 polling stations opened in Croatia, where citizens with the right to vote will elect new mayors, heads of municipalities, county prefects and their deputies in the second round of local elections, where this was not completed in the first round.

AND THE CASTELLANS ELECT THE PREFACE
Tonight, at midnight, election silence begins, and on Sunday, June 4, in the second round of local elections, Croatian citizens will elect prefects in nine counties, mayors in 54 cities, and municipal heads in 102 municipalities.

OFFICIAL RESULTS
In addition to their representatives for city and municipal councils, in the first round of local elections, Croatian citizens also elected their representatives in county assemblies, including 51 representatives to the County Assembly of Split-Dalmatia County.

Presenting road and nautical infrastructure projects in Split on Monday, which will be mostly financed from EU funds, the HDZ candidate for county prefect Blaženko Boban said that the tunnel through Kozjak is the most important county project, for which he is ready to camp in Zagreb until it is launched.

CANDIDATE OF THE BRIDGE FOR MAYOR
The Most Independent List candidate for the Split-Dalmatia County prefect, Miro Bulj, together with the candidates for deputies Ivan Kovačić, until recently the Minister of Administration, and Mate Rebić, until recently the Assistant Minister of Environmental Protection and Energy, and other Most members and supporters will visit Kaštel Novi tomorrow at 9 a.m. where they will socialize with citizens on the waterfront in the park near the church. 

BOBAN OR BULB
Although they already decided on a new mayor in the first round, the people of Kaštela, as well as the residents of all cities and municipalities in the Split-Dalmatia County, are expected to go to the polls again in 13 days to decide who will be the new county prefect, and the HDZ candidate Blaženko Boban and Miro Bulj from Most will be running for that position.

SOMEONE MORE, SOMEONE LESS SATISFIED
The results achieved by the mayoral candidates and candidate lists in these local elections in Kaštela have only in some cases caused dissatisfaction among the candidates, especially the fact that only a third of citizens with the right to vote responded to the elections.

ALL LISTS IN THE COUNCIL
The citizens of Kaštela have concluded the elections for mayor and members of the City Council in the first round. The new mayor of Kaštela is HDZ member Denis Ivanović, and the HDZ will have 13 out of 25 councilors in the City Council in the next four years.

LIVE FROM KAŠTEL
For the next four years, Kaštela will continue to be ruled by the HDZ. According to the first unofficial results, Denis Ivanović, the HDZ candidate for mayor of Kaštela, won 55,04 percent of the votes, thus securing victory in the first round.
HDZ, for which he was the leader of the list, won 48,26 percent, or a safe 13 council seats. 

WE ARE ELECTING A NEW LOCAL AUTHORITY
On Sunday, May 21st, at 6618 polling stations, just under 3,72 million Croatian citizens will have the opportunity to elect new members of local representative bodies, as well as new county prefects and mayors or chiefs. Among them are more than 34 citizens of Kaštela, who will be able to cast their votes for one of the candidates and candidate lists at 21 polling stations.

On Friday afternoon, the "Mala ferrata" passed along the Kaštela coast, and in addition to capturing the attention of the curious, it indirectly sweetened the palates of numerous Kaštela residents.

MESSAGE TO VOTERS
Dear citizens of Kaštela, for years we have witnessed the systematic neglect of our City and the disregard for the interests of its citizens by those who use politics only for personal gain. By creating ideological divisions to cover up long-standing incompetence and complete disregard for the needs of their own citizens, this government has turned Kaštela, instead of an urban and tourist center of pleasant living, into a city of communal neglect and urban disorder that more and more young people are leaving. Namely, it would be difficult to list all the wrong moves, as well as the omissions of the current HDZ city government on one page, but it is enough to note that the ruling party has done almost nothing to raise the standards of communal equipment in the City, not to mention the fact that it has not used a single penny from the available European funds, and today they are making the same promises that they made 4 years ago.

A VIA FERRATA ALONG THE KAŠTELA WATERFRONT
Ivan Gotovac and members of his list will be giving gifts to all his fellow citizens on Friday, May 19th in the afternoon. The "Mala Ferata" train will pass through all seven Kaštela, from which strawberries will be distributed. More precisely, Mala Ferata will run through the entire Kaštela, and mostly along the Kaštela waterfront, which this independent list says is an unused pearl of this city and that this needs to be changed.
