A OVERWHELMING VICTORY FOR THE HDZ CANDIDATE
Ivan Udovičić, the HDZ candidate, is the new mayor of Kaštela, the citizens decided in the second round of local elections. According to the first provisional results, a total of 37,70 percent of citizens with the right to vote turned out at 18 polling stations, of which  60,02  percent voted for Udovičić, while  38,00  percent of Kaštela residents voted for Josip Berket. There were 1,99 percent invalid ballots.

BEFORE SUNDAY'S ELECTIONS
After deciding ten days ago on the councilors who will represent them for the next four years, the people of Kaštela will go to the polls again on Sunday to elect the city's first mayor between former mayor and HDZ candidate Ivan Udovičić, who won 47.2 percent of the vote in the first round, and current mayor and independent candidate Josip Berket, to whom citizens gave 28.1 percent of the vote in the first round.

PROVISIONAL UNOFFICIAL LOCAL ELECTION RESULTS
After all 18 polling stations were processed, it is clear that the HDZ achieved a large and significant victory in Kaštela, i.e. 60 percent according to the D'honte method, and will have as many as 15 councilors in the next convocation of the City Council. The Independent List of Josip Berket achieved 28 percent, i.e. 7 councilors, while the SDP will continue to have 3 councilors in the City Council, with 12 percent.

The candidates once again raised the issues of the city's biggest problems, but also once again tried to show Nautic Radio listeners and Portal readers why they would lead the city better than their opponents.
